After sharing her baby news with the world on May 1, Jessica Simpson has been keeping a low profile, presumably adjusting to motherhood — and those exhausting around-the-clock feedings. But yesterday the "Fashion Star" mentor surfaced to spread the news that everything in her world is perfect.
"I am so in love with baby Maxwell," Simpson, 31, wrote on Twitter Tuesday evening. "I want to cry every time I look at her. Motherhood is by far the best thing I've ever experienced."
Simpson and her fiancé Eric Johnson's daughter had a luxurious arrival into the world last week. The singer-designer reportedly rented a $3,784-a-night three-room, two-bath suite at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, which was large enough for Johnson and his family, Simpson's parents and sister Ashlee.
The couple had selected the name Maxwell Drew Johnson well ahead of time. Maxwell is a family name on Johnson's side and Drew is a Simpson's mother's maiden name. They plan to call the baby Maxi. As is the norm when an relatively unusual celebrity baby name is announced, there was a lot of buzz about it on the Internet. Many commenters thought it was an odd selection for a girl, but it wasn't really groundbreaking because actress Lindsay Sloane named her daughter Maxwell Lue in January.
Meanwhile, Simpson's NBC series "Fashion Star," which she filmed prior to give birth, is coming to a close. On last night's episode, the final three designers were announced. It was a rather startling elimination because half of the contestants were cut. The series finale will air next Tuesday, May 15.
He is the best singer of the world. Jessica best picture and best video.
